Kasten is an ABC-certified prosthetist and orthotist for Hanger Clinic in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

As a clinician, Kasten provides care for all ages including treating adults for upper and lower extremity orthotics as well as lower extremity prosthetics. Her specialty and passion are in pediatric orthotics. She treats a variety of neuromuscular and orthopedic diagnoses, providing cranial remolding for infants with plagiocephaly and brachycephaly, bracing for adolescents with scoliosis, and lower extremity prosthetics.

Kasten thoroughly enjoys working with her patients and their families, providing high-quality patient-centered care. She is passionate about enabling patients to increase their independence, reach their mobility goals, and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their entire journey. Kasten loves that the field allows her to be hands on with fabrication and use her critical thinking skills to help patients reach their full potential. Through working with pediatric patients, Kasten loves to be able to provide continuous care and build relationships with her patients and families throughout each important milestone.

Outside of work, Kasten enjoys volunteering at adaptive water-ski clinics around the Midwest, as well as waterskiing herself. You can find her spending time with her friends and family while staying active outside.
