Katie is an ABC-Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

Katie’s father encouraged her to pursue the field of O&P due to his previous history of Club Foot as a child. She quickly gained a love for the field that had affected her father’s life, as well as would soon affect her own life in an unforeseen way.

Her story came full circle when, after breaking her back in 2018, Hanger provided her with a custom TLSO brace in the hospital. Once this happened, she knew she was meant for this career. She uses everything she learned from this experience to ensure each of her patients feel valued and heard.

As a clinician, one of Katie’s main specialties is treating babies for cranial remolding orthoses. Her quirky personality makes it a fun experience.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Kallie and Marlow, or working on backyard projects.
