Kristan is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Maui, Hawaii.
As a clinician with nearly 20 years of clinical experience, Kristan provides comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care. She brings a wealth of expertise from a variety of care settings, including pediatric hospitals, VA facilities, and trauma centers. Before moving to Maui, Kristan practiced at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle’s Level 1 Trauma Center, where she collaborated with specialists in the care of complex trauma and amputation cases.
Kristan earned her degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Washington in 2006 and completed her residencies at Shriner’s Hospital and the VA. She earned dual certification in 2009. Before Hanger Clinic opened its Maui location, Kristan served as a float clinician, traveling across the country to provide care wherever it was needed.
Outside of work, Kristan enjoys freediving and hiking on the island she now calls home with her fiancé, who was born and raised in Maui.
