Kris Desjardins is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Richmond, Virginia.
As a clinician with over 20 years of experience, Kris specializes in pediatrics and leads her team in providing outstanding care to patients, rehabilitation teams, and referral sources. She provides care to all ages and all devices and currently serves as the lead orthotist in her region, with a focus on pediatrics including cranial and scoliosis, and high-level technology, such as C-Brace KAFOs and Microprocessor Prosthetics. As a Residency Director, mentor, and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists with Distinction, Kris actively contributes to the profession, including her involvement on several committees and serving on Hanger’s Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Kristen is passionate about pediatrics and making connections with the family watching her patients grow year after year!
Outside of work, Kris enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys as they explore the Virgina outdoors and cheer for the Red Sox. Kris also competes in jiu jitsu and capturing moments through photography.
