Leah is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
As a highly experienced clinician with more than 20 years of experience in the field, Leah has a passion for restoring mobility and independence to individuals with lower extremity limb loss. She has developed a special focus in working with lower-extremity amputees, from pre-amputation consults to initial fittings to long-term care and performance optimization. Leah’s approach blends clinical expertise with a strong commitment to patient-centered care, ensuring each patient receives the personalized support they need to thrive.
Leah is known for her collaborative, empathetic style and dedication to empowering patients through every step of their prosthetic journey. She takes pride in helping people regain not just mobility, but confidence and improved quality of life.
Outside of work, Leah loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors. She’s an avid runner and recently started challenging herself in long-distance trail running. A backpacking trip taking full advantage of the outdoors is her favorite get-away. These adventures fuel her appreciation for movement, nature, and resilience- values she brings into her clinical work every day.
