Leah is an ABC-certified and licensed prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

As a clinician, Leah enjoys seeing patients restore their mobility and how much of an impact O&P care has on the person as a whole. She entered the field because of the hands-on approach to medicine that is associated with providing long-term prosthetic and orthotic care. Part of the job she loves most are the relationships she forms with patients as member of their lifetime care team.

She did residency rotations in Minnesota, Washington, Colorado, and South Carolina during which she received the ABC Orthotist Prosthetist scholarship. She took a leave from residency to partake in NIH research in mobility at the University of Houston in their BRAIN center, part of the Health and Human Sciences department, where she won an award for her poster presentation.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys traveling, trying new things, and spending time with friends and family.
