Lily is the Director of Partner Professional Education for Hanger Clinic, where she leads the development and dissemination of evidence-based education to healthcare partners around the world. Lily works closely in collaboration with Clinical & Scientific Affairs developing programs that reach over 10,000 learners each year. Programs led by her and her team include, Hanger Clinic CE Program, Hanger Institute’s Virtual Classroom, and Hanger Clinic’s participation at national conferences and events.
Lily’s passion for education began 17 years ago as an intern with MD Anderson Cancer Research Center (Smithville, TX), creating environmental health curriculum and immersive learning experiences for students and teachers. She has experience with a wide breadth of organizations, like the Allen Institute for Brain Science (Seattle, WA), where she worked alongside a team of neuroscientists to educate post-doctorates and researchers on open source data that continues to fuel brain research today. Her work with Texas Medical Association (Austin, TX) focused on developing continuing medical education programs for various physician specialties, where she immediately recognized the impact collaborative learning can have on the success of patients everywhere.
Lily holds a Master of Science in Science Education (with a focus on adult learning theory), and a Bachelor of Arts. She also recently completed a certificate on E-Learning Instructional Design.
In her spare time, Lily enjoys spending time with her amazing husband and daughter exploring the Pacific Northwest, where they call home.
