Mary is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Virginia. She is originally from Illinois, where she received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from University of Illinois. During her undergraduate time, she was fortunate enough to meet the local Hanger Clinic clinicians in her university town, and to spend almost three years assisting in the clinic while growing her passion for helping patients. She went on to complete her graduate degree, with honors, at Baylor College of Medicine. Her residency as part of the degree program provided her with the opportunity to learn from clinicians across the country in multiple clinic settings. Mary has a particular love for pediatric care, and specialized her residency on working with pediatric patients.
Mary served patients throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and California before moving to Virginia in 2024. She works closely with local physical therapists and enjoys collaborating with each patient’s entire healthcare team to find unique solutions for every patient’s needs.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys hiking, camping, travel, and playing with her dog, and is learning how to surf. She loves to spend her free time with family and friends.
