Matthew is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Hickory Hills, Illinois.
As a clinic manager with more than 21 years of experience in the field, Matthew specializes in pediatrics and has extensive experience in the orthotic management of spina bifida, neuromuscular scoliosis, idiopathic scoliosis, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and any type of neuromuscular condition affecting gait. He is skilled in the management of spina bifida patients with reciprocating gait orthoses (RGOs), management of all types of neuromuscular conditions with custom carbon fiber orthoses when necessary, and use of tuned ankle foot orthoses for proper gait in neurological conditions.
Matthew provides orthotic and prosthetic care for adult and pediatric patients, including care to patients at Advocate Children’s Hospital, UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial and Palos Hospital. He also attends a CP/Neuromuscular clinic at Advocate Children’s Hospital. As a parent with young children, he enjoys sharing his life experiences with patients and hearing their stories.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time outdoors with his three children and attending their sporting events.
