Max is an ABC-certified prosthetist/ orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Montrose, Colorado.
Max started his career as a prosthetics specialist, with a focus on care for high activity/demanding prosthesis users. He then spent time as a clinician at the University of Virginia, where he taught weekly P&O rounds for the PM&R residency program, catalyzed the P&O department’s first research initiatives, and worked across four distinct clinical settings. He graduated from the UVA Health Leadership Institute, a competitive internal development program.
Max has also spent time advising multiple O&P device startup companies. He is a journal manuscript reviewer for Prosthetics and Orthotics International and sits on the workforce advisory committee for NCOPE. Max is excited to bring his breadth of clinical, educational, and technological experience to Montrose.
Outside of work, Max enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, mountaineering, and volunteering in adaptive athletics.
