Megan Davies is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Portland, Oregon.

As the region’s mobile clinician with more than 10 years of experience in the field, Megan began her career as a shadow in college and worked her way up as an orthotic technician, practicing animal O&P. Megan completed and published research while attending Texas A&M on orthotics for animals, but she always wanted to join healthcare and help others. Her interest in the field rose from experiencing a health scare at a young age, where she was hospitalized with MRSA in her entire left leg. She was able to recover and this solidified her passion to help others with mobility.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys puzzling, crafting, reading, video games, hiking, and cherished moments with family. When she is not busy crafting custom prosthetic solutions or exploring the great outdoors, you’ll often find her lost in the pages of a good book or spending time with her niece and her two furry companions, Molly and Nova.
