Michael is an ABC-certified orthotist and clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Mooresville and Statesville, North Carolina.
As a clinic manager with nearly 30 years of experience in the field, Michael specializes in pediatrics and is skilled in the orthotic management of cranial remolding, scoliosis, spinal conditions, spina bifida, and cerebral palsy. He also has expertise in SmartSoc®, TechMed 3D scanner, and variable cadence ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs).
Michael enjoys making a difference in the quality of someone’s life. He believes that children are the best patients, because once you make that connection with them, you can help them reach their potential. He finds it rewarding to ease parents’ fears and encourage their children not to accept limits placed on them by others.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two adult daughters. He is an avid hiker and mountain biker, and a passionate hockey fan.
