Monica Minetola is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and clinic manager at Hanger Clinic, overseeing the Annapolis and Lanham locations in Maryland.
Monica is recognized National Pediatric Specialist, focusing on lower limb orthotic bracing and pediatric prosthetics. As a dedicated pediatric clinician, Monica specializes in post-operative cranial remolding helmets for congenital craniosynostosis, scoliosis bracing, and advanced lower limb prostheses. She is recognized as the regional leader in cranial helmets for positional plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, and craniosynostosis. Monica is passionate about working with children and feels fortunate to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives every day. She values collaborating with families and takes great satisfaction in seeing the successful outcomes of her treatments.
She has extensive expertise in advanced high technology prosthetic legs, including vacuum-assisted and microprocessor-controlled prostheses, which offer enhanced stability, mobility, and comfort for her patients.
She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Behavior Science Society for the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
Outside of work, Monica enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children, fitness training, and traveling with family and friends.
