Nancy Snyder is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Brunswick, Georgia.
As a clinician, with more than 23 years of experience in the field, Nancy specializes in pediatrics including comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic solutions for individuals with conditions such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy, cranial asymmetry, craniosynostosis, congenital talipes equinovarus, spastic hemiplegia, genetic mutations, chromosomal deficiencies, and general hypotonia and hypertonia. Nancy is also trained in Sprout3D cranial remolding, serving pediatric patients with plagiocephaly and brachycephaly. As a National Pediatric Specialist in orthotics and prosthetics, Nancy collaborates closely with pediatric specialists and therapy teams from Savannah, GA, through Brunswick, GA, and down to Jacksonville, FL.
In addition to her pediatric expertise, Nancy specializes in prosthetic and orthotic care for adult lower and upper-extremity amputees, with extensive knowledge in Level 1 and Level 2 Trauma care. Her dedication to the field extends to mentoring as a bilateral above-knee ambassador for Hanger Clinic and as part of an NCOPE-accredited residency site, where she empowers future clinicians to achieve their full potential.
Nancy is passionate about the O&P field because it allows her to leverage her ability to think outside the box and craft innovative treatments tailored to her patients’ needs. She takes pride in being an unwavering advocate for her patients, assuring them of her dedication to delivering the highest standard of care.
As a firm believer in a multidisciplinary approach, Nancy works closely with physical therapists and referring physicians to ensure a cohesive team effort, ultimately striving for the best possible outcomes. Nancy is committed to instilling confidence in families, providing reassurance, and making their care journey as seamless as possible.
Outside of work, Nancy enjoys time spent with her children, Paul and Maggie, as they split their time between the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, and Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. She is an avid lover of photography and abstract art, and loves exploring water destinations with the family Labrador, Mack.
