Rachel Necky is a clinical resident for Hanger Clinic in Rosedale, Maryland.
As a resident, Rachel specializes in pediatrics. She was first introduced to prosthetics at the age of 13 when a family member was injured and consequently had a transfemoral amputation. Rachel found his rehabilitation to be fascinating, watching his residual limb heal, getting molded for, then fit with a prosthesis. She knew in her heart that being a prosthetist and orthotist was her destiny.
Rachel enjoys using compassion and problem-solving skills to help patients achieve improved mobility and quality of life.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys ice skating, playing ice hockey, hiking, camping, rock climbing, building things, exploring new places, and listening to audiobooks.
