Robert McInturff is a certified and licensed prosthetist/orthotist and clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Akron, Ohio.

As a clinician with more than 40 years of experience serving the Akron community, Bob began his career providing orthotic and prosthetic patient care with Akron Orthopedic Brace Company and Yanke Bionics before opening Akron Orthotic Solutions, Inc., an independent patient care facility where he directed all aspects of clinical care and production. Throughout his career, Bob has focused primarily on pediatric orthotics and prosthetics, a population he is deeply passionate about serving.

Over the decades, Bob has collaborated with local healthcare professionals to treat thousands of patients with a wide range of diagnoses. His work has included participation in numerous orthopedic and neuromuscular clinics at Akron Children’s Hospital, where he has partnered with providers and families to help children achieve meaningful functional goals.

Bob now brings his extensive clinical experience to Hanger Clinic. He values the opportunity to combine his long-standing expertise with Hanger Clinic’s research capabilities and technological innovations, renewing his enthusiasm for improving patient outcomes and meeting the needs of the community he has served for his entire career.
