Robin Spencer is an ABC-certified and Illinois-licensed pedorthist and an ABC-certified orthotics fitter for Hanger Clinic in Schaumburg, Illinois.
As a clinician, Robin holds specializes in the Jobst Gradient System, including Elvarex lymphedema garments. She is a specialist in pedorthics and sports medicine where she works on broad-based musculoskeletal injuries with a focus on injury prevention and biomechanical rehabilitation for performing artists, athletes, endurance runners and children active in sports.
Robin is also a registered fitter in breast prostheses. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthotist and Prosthetists (AAOP) and the AAOP Midwest Chapter, and she serves on the American Board for Certification (ABC) Pedorthic Examination Committee.
Robin received her pedorthic training from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completes continuing education courses throughout the year to stay current in her practice.
With more than 20 years of experience at Hanger Clinic in Schaumburg and the University of Illinois at Chicago Sports Medicine and Human Performance Center, Robin now takes appointments in the South Barrington office.
Outside of work, Robin enjoys and competes in running and cycling.
