Sara Whiteis is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist at Hanger Clinic in Washington, DC.
As a clinician with over eight years of experience in the field, Sara specializes in pediatric orthotics, focusing on cranial remolding helmets for plagiocephaly, adolescent scoliosis, and lower limb orthotics, while also providing prosthetic care.
Sara is committed to a collaborative, patient-centered approach and regularly attends multidisciplinary pediatric clinics, working alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans. She is passionate about working with children and believes in looking at cases from all perspectives to ensure best possible outcomes for her patients. As a dedicated member of the rehabilitation team, Sara strives to provide high-quality, individualized care that enhances mobility, function and overall quality of life for her patients.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it is camping, hiking, paddleboarding, and biking.
