Sarah is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Hartford, Connecticut. She got into the orthotics field because she is passionate about helping people and changing lives. Sarah works primarily with pediatric patients, handling cranial asymmetry and idiopathic scoliosis in addition to lower extremity orthotic management of diagnoses such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida.
She particularly enjoys working with children because she gets to watch them grow and change while educating and supporting each family through the orthotics process. Sharing in a family’s joy as their child improves is a very rewarding part of orthotics.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to stay active. If she’s not playing a sport or exploring the outdoors, she’s likely out with her husband, Matthew, trying a new food or new restaurant.
