Todd is a Research Scientist within Clinical and Scientific Affairs. He began in this role after spending time in academia as an assistant professor, and subsequently as a lecturer. Todd has served as a principal investigator and co-author on multiple conference abstracts and manuscripts, and serves as an editor for two journals. Todd’s research focus has previously investigated the effects of supplements and exercise in both healthy individuals and individuals with type 2 diabetes.
In addition to receiving grants, Todd has served on multiple committees throughout his research tenure. He is currently a member of the Diversity Action Network Committee for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and has previously served on Department and Institutional Review Boards.
In his current role, Todd coordinates clinical research studies, analyzes patient reported outcomes and clinical data, writes manuscripts and grants, and presents research data at conferences. Todd is also a Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
