Tanner is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and Clinic Manager for Hanger Clinic. He began working in orthotics and prosthetics in 2010 after graduating from Northwestern University’s NUPOC program.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Montana State University in 2005, Tanner sought a career that would allow him to use his engineering background in a way that has a direct impact on individual people. Prosthetics and orthotics has been a perfect fit! Tanner loves the challenges and rewards that come with meeting the needs of each individual. His areas of special expertise include cranial remolding helmet therapy, clubfoot bracing, scoliosis bracing, microprocessor knees, and elevated vacuum prostheses. Tanner enjoys staying current on the latest technologies while not forgetting valuable “old school” philosophies.

Tanner feels blessed to live in Montana, where he and his wife love to explore nature with their four children. When the kids go to bed, you might find him quietly tinkering at his leatherworking bench. Mountain biking, hiking, and toddler-wrangling keep him busy and happy year-round.
