Maria is an ABC-certified orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Austin, Texas.

Maria works with pediatric patients and specializes in prosthetics, ankle-foot orthoses, cranial remolding orthoses, scoliosis bracing, and more. She is passionate about the field of orthotics and prosthetics and enjoys keeping up with how it changes every day from new technologies to advancements in patient care.

Maria enjoys working with pediatric patients because she gets to build relationships with families, grow with her patients, and see how she can help make a child’s day-to-day life easier. She finds joy in sharing stories and seeing her patients grow up, build trust, and try new things. Maria works to help kids maintain their activity level, reach new goals, and achieve what they thought might not be possible.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys traveling the world, learning new things, spending time with family and friends, and gushing over her niece.
