Mike Richard is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
Since completing Prosthetic/Orthotic school in Minnesota, Mike Richard has been practicing in Florida since 1985. He started his own company in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 27 and recently joined Hanger in 2024. He has been featured in “Angel of Milot” short film and “Love Town” on the Oprah Winfrey network for his prosthetic works. Mike also made a prosthesis for the 1st amputee to compete on American Ninja warrior and cheered him on in person during the competition. Mike has been able to use his prosthetic talents to help patients in his missions to Grenada and Haiti for many years.
His passion is prosthetics. He is well versed in lower and upper extremity prosthetics and loves to see his patients succeed and reach their full potential.
Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids. He has many hobbies such as fly fishing, boating, pheasant hunting and wood working.
