Leigh Nelson is a BOC-certified orthotic fitter for Hanger Clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota.

As a clinician, Leigh is passionate about using her skills and knowledge to improve health outcomes and enhance the quality of life for her patients. Prior to joining Hanger Clinic in 2024, Leigh worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for more than 25 years. 

Outside of work, Leigh enjoys golfing, hiking, or being on her back deck surrounded by the nature of the Black Hills. She also loves to go on vacation with her husband and children.
