Alysia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Gannon University, and a Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Baylor College of Medicine. Throughout her graduate studies, she gained invaluable hands-on experience at some of the most respected institutions across the country. She is experienced in both adult and pediatric care, and has worked in locations including California, Tennessee, Alaska, and Ohio. These diverse training experiences provided her with a well-rounded approach to patient care, particularly in pediatrics, where she focuses on helping children with limb differences, limb loss, scoliosis, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and other neurologic conditions. Her expertise lies in combining the principles of engineering with clinical orthotics and prosthetics to create innovative, customized solutions that improve mobility and quality of life.
Outside of her professional work, Alysia enjoys exploring the vibrant city of Houston with her husband and dog. She has a passion for gardening and DIY-ing, and continually explores new orthotic and prosthetic designs, pushing the boundaries of creativity and functionality in her field. With a compassionate heart and curious mind, Alysia is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on both her patients and community.
