Thad Wolfe, CO

Thad is an ABC-certified orthotist for Hanger Clinic in the Bluffton and Beaufort, South Carolina.

As a clinician with almost 30 years of experience in the field, Thad works with patients of all ages. He specializes in pediatrics and lower extremity treatment, and is proficient in stance control orthoses, functional electrical stimulation (FES) using the WalkAide^® System, and scoliosis treatment for pediatrics and adults,

Thad has experience as an orthotist in a fast paced rehabilitation hospital treating everything from stroke victims to spinal cord injuries. He also specialized in spina bifida and conducted orthopedic clinics. He is trained in light weight Evoke 3D printed corrective knee bracing.

Thad feels blessed to be able to help people of all ages live life to their fullest potential. He enjoys helping children meet their developmental goals and be more accepted by peers. He finds joy in developing relationships with children as they progress and helping develop their independence.

Outside of work, Thad enjoys spending time with his wife of 26 years and four children, grilling, going to the beach, hunting, and fishing.
