Dawn Stepp is an ABC-certified orthotic fitter for Hanger clinic in both the Anchorage and Wasilla, Alaska offices.
As an orthotic fitter, Dawn works closely with patients and their provider’s teams to evaluate their needs, formulate a treatment plan, and provide follow-up care to ensure successful outcomes. She provides certain custom-fitted, pre-fabricated, and off-the-shelf orthoses. Dawn started working with the Hanger Clinic as a technician in North Carolina fabricating orthotics and prosthetics for over nine years. Feeling the pull to move back to her home state, Dawn served as an office administrator for over 18 years in our Wasilla office. During that time, she received an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences and became a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant.
Outside of work, Dawn enjoys photography, chasing the Northern Lights, fishing, camping and during the summer months she rides her ATV along the Denali Highway. She enjoys the simple things in life like collecting firewood for backyard fires and relaxing in the sauna.
