Josh is a board eligible prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and La Crosse, Wisconsin.
As a clinician, Josh provides orthotic and prosthetic care for patients of all ages. He focuses on both prosthetic and orthotic designs, including patient evaluation, custom device development, fabrication coordination, fitting, alignment, and follow up care using both traditional and digital workflows. Josh’s clinical experience includes working with patients with lower limb amputations, foot and ankle pathologies, knee instability, neuromuscular conditions, and gait impairments, and he collaborates closely with referring physicians and physical therapists to develop practical treatment plans addressing each patient’s functional needs. He also incorporates innovative 3D printed and carbon fiber orthotic solutions when appropriate to expand device options.
Josh completed his prosthetics and orthotics residency with Hanger Clinic and has prior clinical experience in the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, working with Veteran populations in both orthotic and prosthetic care settings. He is also an Army National Guard veteran, having completed his military service, which contributes to his familiarity with the needs of service members and Veterans. Josh values clear communication, patient education, and sound clinical decision making throughout the care process.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time exploring new restaurants and spending time outdoors with his wife and their Wheaten Terrier puppy.
