Chris is a BOC-certified orthotist/prosthetist for Hanger Clinic in Jackson, Tennessee.
As a clinic manager with more than 40 years of experience in the field, Chris specializes in cranial, upper and lower limb, and spinal (excluding scoliosis treatment) orthoses, as well as functional electrical stimulation (FES), for all age groups. He has extensive training in pathomechanics to treat gait deviations and knowledge in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) and adaptive equipment approaches to rehabilitation.
Chris has spent his entire career in this field and enjoys the opportunity to help patients every day. He says it feeds his body and soul with a wide range of emotions, from empathy to the gratification felt when helping others. He finds it rewarding to use his knowledge and skills to help improve his patients’ quality of life, whether adults or pediatric patients in their ever-evolving stages of development.
Dedicated to supporting the surrounding community, Chris feels blessed to be part of a pediatric team that includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists and work with the county school system to provide orthotic long-term care to children.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his family.
