Virtual Event

Whether you’re just starting out on your road to recovery or you have had years of experience living and thriving as an amputee, through shared experiences we can find solutions, hope, and new possibilities.

Even during these uncertain times with COVID-19, we can still get together virtually to socialize, ask questions, share information, and learn and grow from others who have overcome similar challenges.

Special Guest Speaker

Marc Milkie

Bilateral Below-Knee Amputee

In March 2002, 52 year-old father of four Marc Milkie was diagnosed with Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA), a disease with no known cause or cure. Four months later, he underwent bilateral below-knee amputation surgery and began his road to recovery. Marc credits his family and friends, his belief in a higher power, and a positive attitude for much of what he has accomplished in the last 19 years. Among many things, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling, and has a true passion for music and golf. He also enjoys his role as a Major Gifts Officer at a private high school in Cleveland, OH, where he raises funds to support the needs of the school and its nearly 1,500 students.
