Alicia is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Youngstown and Warren, OH.

Alicia has always had a passion for helping others, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in orthotics and prosthetics. She finds it extremely rewarding, knowing that she’s making a positive impact on an individual’s life with every orthosis and prosthesis she provides.

Alicia specializes in cranial remolding orthoses (CROs) for infants. She enjoys the teamwork aspect of the CRO journey, as it requires a lot of collaboration with the treating physicians, therapists, and the patients’ families. She enjoys getting to know each family as they progress through treatment, ensuring they are comfortable and confident in the care their child is receiving. She wants to ensure each family knows, as they put their time and effort into the treatment, they can trust her, as their orthotist, to give the highest possible quality of care and best outcomes for their child.

Alicia also specializes in many types of pediatric orthoses, including scoliosis orthoses as well as lower extremity interventions for children with cerebral palsy, club foot, spina bifida, and a variety of other diagnoses. She attends a weekly Orthopedic Clinic at Akron Children’s Hospital in Warren, OH, and services many local schools to provide orthotic services and determine appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with local physicians and physical therapists. While she provides care to many pediatric patients, she sees both prosthetic and orthotic patients of all ages, and truly enjoys the variety of patients that make up her daily schedule.

Being a newer resident to the state of Ohio, Alicia enjoys exploring local restaurants, events, and attractions when she’s not working. She also enjoys traveling back to her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA to visit with family and friends, and cheer on the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.
