Amanda is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Akron and Canton, Ohio.
As a clinician, Amanda works with adult and pediatric prosthetics and orthotics. She specializes in upper extremity prosthetics as well as the treatment of idiopathic scoliosis, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and clubfoot. Amanda is the clinical lead for the Myopro for northeast Ohio. She enjoys using creative problem solving to develop specific treatment plans to help each patient and coming up with new ways to make a device work for the patient. She is passionate when it comes to treating her patients and enjoys helping them succeed and achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Amanda spends her time coaching JO Volleyball, hiking in the national parks, reading, and going to concerts. She also enjoys relaxing at home with her husband, Jake, and their dog Bud.
