Andrew is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and Clinic Manager for Hanger Clinic in Mission Viejo, California. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys servicing Spanish-speaking patients.

As a clinician with more than 14 years of experience in the field, Andrew works with patients of all ages, but specializes in pediatric patients with a primary focus in cerebral palsy. He is skilled in orthotic management techniques including custom foot orthotics, ankle foot orthoses (AFOs), knee-ankle-foot orthoses (KAFOs), lumbosacral orthoses (LSOs), thoracolumbosacral orthoses (TLSOs), protective helmets and club foot braces. Andrew also provides cranial remolding orthoses (CROs) for plagiocephaly, custom scoliosis braces, fracture bracing, positional bracing for contracture management and prevention, as well as flexible bracing using stabilizing pressure input orthosis (SPIO) garments and TheraTogs. He uses 3D imaging technology to support his cranial remolding helmet, scoliosis bracing, and foot orthotics fabrication.

Andrew enjoys getting to know his patients and their families, watching them grow and reach meaningful milestones. He finds it rewarding to learn tips and tricks from their daily experience in using orthotic devices, and feels working in pediatrics has made him a better all-around clinician. Andrew knows even the smallest injury or functional deficit can have a big impact on someone’s life, both physically and emotionally, and he is grateful for the opportunity to be able to improve and/or return function to his patients’ lives.

Andrew supports the community through several California Children’s Services (CCS) clinics, where he works with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians to optimize pediatric patients’ treatment plans.

Outside of work Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and son, often on the beaches of Southern California.
