Anita is a clinical resident for Hanger Clinic in Baton Rouge, LA.
As a resident, Anita works with a diverse patient population in the orthotic and prosthetic field. She is dedicated to developing individualized treatment plans that support each patient’s functional goals and overall quality of life. She enjoys using creative problem solving and critical thinking to find the best solutions for each individual she serves.
Anita is especially passionate about patient-centered care, which is deeply personal to her. Growing up with a father who has a prosthetic leg, she witnessed firsthand the impact that compassionate, innovative care can have on a person’s independence and confidence. This experience continues to shape her approach, as she strives to be both a clinical resource and a strong source of support for her patients.
Outside of work, Anita enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active in her community, and playing board games.
