Carly is a clinical extender at Hanger Clinic in Lafayette, Colorado. She is currently training for her Orthotic Fitter Certification.

Carly works with patients of all ages and is interested in lower extremity orthotics and prosthetics, as well as post-surgical bracing. Her primary population focus is pediatric and athletic populations. She is especially interested in neurophysiology and its use in optimizing prosthetic and orthotic care.

Carly was first introduced to prosthetics and orthotics in elementary school where she met classmates with both amputations and altered gait. In college, she worked with the University of Colorado’s football, soccer, track and field, and lacrosse teams, devoting her time to improving the quality of care and rehabilitation that these athletes received. She also worked in University of Colorado’s Applied Biomechanics Lab, where she specialized in gait analysis and prosthetic function in amputee running, long jumping, and walking.

Carly is passionate about empowering people of all backgrounds to be as active as they strive to be, while enjoying every step of their journey.

Outside of work, Carly enjoys country line and swing dancing, baking, and watching hockey.
