Chelsea is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Colorado Springs. Chelsea first became interested in the field because she has personal experience; as a child, she required a custom LSO to treat her spina bifida and spondylolisthesis. She continues to draw on that experience to better relate and empathize with her patients today.
Chelsea has more than fifteen years of experience in prosthetics and orthotics, and she continues to enjoy helping the Colorado Springs public become as active and healthy as they desire to be. Chelsea specializes in providing care for endurance and adaptive sport athletes, and pediatric patients. As a semi pro athlete for many years, she can identify with the needs of fellow athletes, and she thrives on problem solving for the most active patients – people who push the limits of their orthotic/prosthetic devices, and seek out more from life.
Much like athletes, children require adaptive devices that can handle high levels of activity, plus continued growth. Chelsea specializes in treating clubfoot, spina bifida, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, and cerebral palsy, in addition to providing prosthetic care for limb loss and limb difference.
