Claire Howard is a Patient Care Navigator for Hanger Clinic in Lexington, Prestonsburg, Somerset, Danville, London, Mount Sterling, and Morehead, Kentucky.

As a Patient Care Navigator, Claire supports pre- and post-amputation patients through every stage of their journey — from pre-surgical consultations to post-amputation recovery and ambulation — providing personalized guidance, educational resources, and emotional support to help patients regain mobility and achieve their goals.

Claire began as an office administrator in 2023, completing the behind-the-scenes work necessary to obtain a prosthesis, from scheduling to prosthetic documentation review. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work, with a focus on supporting patients through life-changing medical experiences. Claire is committed to combining her clinical knowledge with social work skills to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to every patient she serves.
