Clayton is a BOC-certified orthotist and Area Clinic Manager for Hanger Clinic in Des Moines with over 20 years of experience. 

Clayton is passionate about helping the patients that he serves every single day and is committed to improving their quality of life and providing them with the best possible outcomes. He is often approached with challenging, specialty cases that others cannot take on. Clayton has embraced technology in many areas of his practice and is currently a WalkAide specialist for the Heartland region. He is also the first clinician in Iowa to fit a C-brace and bilateral Myopro upper extremity devices.

Clayton also specializes in infant cranial asymmetry. He has built a strong following within his community as a renowned center of clinical excellence and a key referral for plagiocephaly and post-op management for craniosynostosis in Des Moines. He is always excited to meet and develop a treatment plan with new families. He takes the time to not only assess and develop a plan but also educate families on their best options, as he is committed to lessening the degree of anxiety patients and their families may be experiencing in the beginning of their journey. 

Clayton is committed to applying best practices and treating each patient as though they are his own family, listening and working hard to give each individual his best. 

Outside the clinic, Clayton enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys fishing, camping, and snowmobiling in the Colorado mountains.
