Colleen has been in the healthcare industry since 1981, when she graduated from nursing school in Reading, PA with her LPN. She went on to finish her nursing degree in 1989 in Los Angeles, and was a nurse for years before moving from Southern California to New England in 2009. After that move, Colleen decided on a career change, and became an ABC-certified orthotic fitter and later an ABC-certified pedorthist. Colleen is also a mastectomy fitter and is a certified Juzzo/Jobst/Mediven custom compression fitter.

Colleen became a managing partner of New England Orthotic and Prosthetic Systems in 2011 and opened a branch for them in Bridgeport, CT, where she honed her business skills in addition to her O&P skills. When she moved back to Pennsylvania in 2018 to be closer to her family, she joined Hanger Clinic.

Colleen feels that combining her nursing skills with O&P has helped her become even more compassionate and understanding of each individual’s needs and concerns. She always says, “In this field, one never stops learning something new!” She thoroughly enjoys working with her Hanger Clinic family in Bethlehem and looks forward to many more years serving her community with them.
