Denise is an ABC-certified fitter of orthotics and Community Care Coordinator for Hanger Clinic in Tucson, Arizona.

As a clinician, Denise has been supporting individuals with limb loss and mobility challenges since 2015. As a Certified Fitter, she has assisted prosthetists and orthotists in evaluating, fitting, and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices.

In her current role, Denise meets with all new prosthetic patients before and after surgery to provide education and emotional support throughout the amputation and rehabilitation process. She ensures patients and their family members are provided with educational support, including amputee support groups, peer mentors, and wear and care for prosthetic supplies to include AmpuShield Limb protector and shrinker. Denise may also attend physician appointments with patients as needed for support.
