James H. Campbell, PhD, is Hanger’s Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer with extended responsibility as President of Hanger Ventures. Dr. Campbell has 40 years of experience in the orthotics and prosthetics profession with distinction in leadership and research. He is also a named inventor on 5 issued U.S. Patents and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), as well as the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists (AAOP), from which he received the Distinguished Practitioner Award in February 2013 and the prestigious Titus Ferguson Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023. Dr. Campbell is a Certified Orthotist and a Fellow of the AAOP.

Dr. Campbell holds a Higher Diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics and a PhD in Bio-Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
