Jeremy is a Patient Care Navigator for Hanger Clinic in New York.
Born with proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD), a congenital condition that resulted in a shortened right femur, Jeremy has firsthand experience navigating life with limb difference. After years of using various prosthetic devices to maintain his mobility, he made the life-changing decision at age 14 to undergo a foot amputation. Inspired by meeting fellow amputee Robert Rodriguez in sixth grade, Jeremy embraced a new path that helped him achieve greater mobility and independence.
Today, Jeremy uses his personal experience to support new amputees as they begin their rehabilitation journey. As a Patient Care Navigator, he helps patients adapt to life after limb loss, offering encouragement, guidance, and a unique perspective shaped by his own experiences. Jeremy is passionate about helping others overcome challenges, embrace the unknown, and build confidence as they work toward their goals.
Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys connecting with the amputee community, sharing his story, and advocating for a positive and empowered future for individuals living with limb loss.
