Katie is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Columbia, South Carolina.

As a clinician who has spent the past five years caring for patients of all ages across the Midlands, Katie enjoys helping individuals and families navigate a wide range of prosthetic and orthotic needs. Her experience includes scoliosis bracing, cranial remolding helmets, post-operative cranial care, upper and lower limb management, and prosthetic care for individuals with limb loss of both the upper and lower extremities. Katie also has experience in advanced orthotic and prosthetic technologies, including the WalkAid functional stimulation device, the Agilik powered microprocessor KAFO, and several microprocessor prosthetic options.

Katie’s primary focus is in pediatric care, where she is a valued member of the scoliosis and cranial care teams. She is passionate about creating positive experiences for children and families while delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment plans to support growth, confidence, and mobility. She believes the best outcomes come from collaboration and works closely with physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to provide well rounded care for every patient. Katie is a committed member to an amputee support group hosted in Columbia to help facilitate connection, encouragement, and community amongst individuals adjusting to life after limb loss.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys travelling to new cities and adventuring with her pup.
