Leizl is an ABC-certified orthotist for the Plains, Wilkes Barre, and Dunmore Hanger Clinic locations in Pennsylvania.
As a pediatric clinician, Leizl enjoys the combination of healthcare and creativity that goes into designing orthotic devices that meet the needs and goals of each child. She specializes in all types of orthotic interventions for children, including upper and lower extremity bracing (especially for children with cerebral palsy and Down syndrome) as well as cranial remolding orthoses for infants with cranial asymmetries.
Working with patients and families throughout the treatment process has always brought Leizl great joy. She enjoys seeing the before treatment and after treatment results, knowing the positive impact it will have on the child’s life in the future.
In her spare time, Leizl enjoys playing with her dog, rock climbing, paddle-boarding, and painting. In fact, she has brought her artistic capabilities to the broader healthcare field by contributing medical illustrations to various publications.
