Maria is a BOC-certified orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Overland Park, Kansas. 

As a clinician with 20 years of experience, Maria specializes in orthotics for patients of all ages. When she was four years old, her father was in a farming accident, which resulted in a below-knee amputation. She went to all of his appointments with him and fell in love with rehabilitation, orthotics, and prosthetics. She has always loved working with children and their families and is motivated by their resilience. She finds it very rewarding to help them accomplish new goals and be as active as possible.    

Outside work, Maria enjoys spending time with her large family. She enjoys baking, thrifting, and crafting with her two daughters.
