Melanie is an ABC-certified orthotist at the Hanger Clinic locations in Waterloo and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

With more than fifteen years of experience in the field, Melanie enjoys working with children and adults in all areas of orthotic management. She specializes in treating patients with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke, multiple sclerosis, scoliosis, plagiocephaly, and craniosynostosis, among others.

Passionate about seeing her patients succeed, Melanie strives to help people feel comfortable throughout their care journey. She takes the time to guide them throughout the process, answering any questions that may arise along the way. As a data-driven clinician, she prides herself on providing families with accurate, easy-to-understand progress points, demonstrating key treatment milestones.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They love to cook, explore nature, and watch/play sports together.
