Michael Winters is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Mesa, Arizona.
As a clinician with more than 10 years of experience in the field, Mike brings a diverse background of fitness and rehabilitation to the field of prosthetics. He specializes in Lower Extremity Prosthetics, advanced prosthetic technology, microprocessor knees and feet, elevated vacuum suspension systems, high activity prosthetics, bilateral amputees, traumatic amputations, and performance-based outcomes. Mike enjoys the challenges that each patient brings, researching and utilizing various prosthetic technologies to find creative solutions that meet their unique presentation and functional demands.
Prior to becoming a certified practitioner in prosthetics and orthotics Mike’s career began as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. His passion now lies in integrating his background in health and fitness into the field of prosthetics to achieve the highest functional outcomes with his patients.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys remaining active with his wife and two daughters, hiking, and playing golf.
