Rebecca S. Cook is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Cedar Park and Round Rock, Texas.
With eight years of experience in orthotics and prosthetics, Rebecca specializes in pediatric orthotic and prosthetic care. She is passionate about helping children improve their mobility, independence, and confidence through individualized solutions tailored to their unique needs, goals, and stages of development. Rebecca enjoys combining clinical expertise, biomechanics, problem-solving, and hands-on care to create meaningful outcomes that help patients participate more fully in the activities they enjoy.
Before relocating to Texas in 2025, Rebecca spent several years serving patients in North Carolina, building extensive experience in both prosthetics and orthotics. She works closely with patients, families, physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team to support each child’s growth and development. Rebecca is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, and she has also contributed to adaptive sports initiatives, disability advocacy efforts, professional volunteerism, and educational outreach within the O&P community.
Rebecca particularly enjoys working with pediatric patients because it allows her to be part of their developmental journey. She finds it rewarding to help children reach important milestones, gain confidence, and achieve goals that may have once seemed out of reach while building lasting relationships with the families she serves.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Chase, working with her service dog, Charlie, caring for her many houseplants, and promoting disability inclusion and awareness. She also serves as a WhatIsPOP.org Ambassador and volunteers with ABC.
