Rob Cressler is an ABC‑certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Chicago, Illinois.

As a clinician with more than 11 years of experience in the prosthetics and orthotics field, Rob is dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence through personalized care and advanced prosthetic and orthotic solutions. He brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to his work as a below‑knee amputee of more than 26 years, allowing him to understand firsthand the physical and emotional challenges patients face following limb loss. His personal journey sparked a lifelong passion for the field and continues to drive his commitment to helping others return to active, fulfilling lives. Rob also specializes in helping amputees return to sports, including the design and fitting of running prostheses that allow patients to safely and confidently get back to the activities they love.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys running and staying active.
