Robin Cavender is an ABC-Certified and Florida licensed Pedorthist and Orthotic Fitter.
As a clinician with almost 40 years of experience in the O&P field, Robin loves the work she does and finds it greatly rewarding to help people overcome obstacles and improve their day-to-day life.
Robin began her career at Southern Prosthetic Supply Alpharetta, Georgia central fab as a prosthetic technician. After a couple of years at SPS central fab she went to work at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a member of the multidisciplinary limb deficiency team. She was at Children’s for 25 years where she honed her skills as a fabricator and clinical assistant. Robin enjoyed working with the pediatric patients at Children’s and was there long enough to see some patients from when they received their first prosthesis into their adult years. In 2017 Robin attended Kennesaw State University’s Pedorthic Education Program and became a certified Pedorthist.
Outside of work, Robin is enjoying getting familiar with her new town, Pensacola, Florida, where she moved to in summer 2024, to be closer to her daughter.
